Art Bra Austin is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas. Artists and designers create/design bras for a runway show in which all the models are breast cancer patients and survivors. The bras are auctioned off to raise money for the center. Once again I collaborated with The Piazza Center to design and create this piece for one of Dr. Piazza's patients to model on the runway.

I created this with resin pieces from my resin works. I dyed and painted a corset to get the color(s) I wanted. I cut out the center panels of the corset and replaced them with vintage linen. I stitched pieces of tyvek that I altered to the cups to adhere the resin pieces to. Added a tulle skirt which I altered with a heat gun and stitched tulle flowers that I made to add interest to the skirt. The name of this piece is Great Barrier Reef.

Great Barrier Reef is the bra that was in the 2018 Art Bra Austin show however I made two others that coordinated with it calling them The Coral Reef Collection. Here are all three pieces that I created.
